Origin
Thesub-tropical Himalayas and inAssam, extending southwards through West Bengal, Bihar, Orissa into Deccan Peninsula. Roots are usually confused with those of Clerodendrum serratum and are sold as Bhaarangi.
Action:
Root and leaves—given in asthma, rheumatism.
